CERN highlights its role as EOSC Node in latest Open Science Report

EOSC-A Director Kamran Naim provides the introduction to the CERN Open Science Report 2023/2024 in his capacity as Head of Open Science at CERN.

The report underscores CERN’s commitment to Open Science as not only an institutional responsibility but also as a strategic priority for the future of particle physics. According to the report, “CERN’s leadership role in the European Open Science Cloud culminated in its confirmation as a first-wave EOSC Federation candidate node. The node is supported by dedicated task forces and has drawn-up comprehensive implementation plans for 2025–2026. Open infrastructure provisioning and support will remain priorities of this collaboration, and efforts to enhance interoperability and compliance with FAIR principles will continue.”
