2026 Biennial KPI survey for EOSC Partnership

The 2026 biennial key performance indicators (KPI) survey for the EOSC Partnership is now open. Members and Observers of the EOSC Association are invited to report on their national contributions to EOSC by 23 October 2026 (23:59 CEST).

The survey monitors and measures progress of the EOSC Partnership over the 2024-2025 reporting period against the KPIs and objectives set out in the EOSC Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA). EOSC-A strongly encourages all Members and Observers to participate and provide information on their organisations’ contributions.

The anonymised and aggregated results will contribute to the European Commission’s evaluation of the EOSC Partnership. They will also be included in a deliverable of the EOSC Gravity project, which supports the transition of the European co-programmed Partnership for EOSC into its new governance and funding framework.

How to complete the survey

Log into the EOSC Monitoring took to access the survey

Members and Observers of EOSC-A can complete the 2026 biennial KPI survey by logging in to the EOSC Monitoring Tool using their individual accounts. Once logged in, they can also review data previously submitted on behalf of their organisations.

The survey does not have to be completed in a single session. The tool, developed to facilitate smooth reporting, allows users to save their progress as a draft and return to it later. To prepare in advance, respondents can export the survey questions directly from the EOSC Monitoring Tool as a PDF or CSV file.

The survey needs to be completed no later than 23 October 2026 (23:59 CEST).

Online training sessions

EOSC-A will host three online training sessions to support Members and Observers in completing the survey and to provide guidance on the EOSC Monitor Tool and its functionalities. The sessions will take place on:

  • Thursday, 10 September 2026, 12:00 CEST,
  • Friday, 11 September 2026, 11:00 CEST,
  • Wednesday, 16 September 2026, 15:00 CEST.

The same content will be presented at each session, so participants only need to attend once. The sessions will give an overview of the EOSC Monitoring Tool, explain how to complete and submit the survey, answer participants’ questions, and provide an opportunity to begin completing the survey with guidance from the monitoring team.

Registration is required to attend.
