The EOSC Symposium 2025 will mark the exciting transition of the EOSC Federation into its operational phase. As with previous editions, participants can expect insightful discussions, strategic updates, and unparalleled networking opportunities.
Organised by the EOSC Association, with the support of the EOSC Gravity and EOSC Focus projects, the EOSC Symposium 2025 will take place on 03-05 November at the historic Le Plaza Hotel in Brussels.
The flagship event will bring together the larger EOSC community of policy makers, funders, researchers, representatives of research-performing organisations as well as national and pan-European data infrastructures, Research Infrastructures, and e-Infrastructures, all of whom are working together to build EOSC and the EOSC Federation.

The Programme Committee is crafting an all-encompassing and highly engaging programme. A high-level outline of the planned sessions is available below, with more comprehensive details to be released later.

Registration
The EOSC Symposium is the largest and most anticipated event on the EOSC calendar, and the 2025 edition will accommodate 500 in-person attendees. To ensure a broad and balanced in-person participation, the Programme and Organising Committees have established a two-stage registration process.
The first wave of registrations, by invitation only, will open early in the summer and target priority stakeholders, such as EOSC-A Members, representatives of the EOSC Federation Build-Up Group, the EOSC Steering Board, INFRAEOSC project coordinators and others. It will be followed in the early autumn by a second wave registration open to all interested participants. The option to follow the event online will also be available.

Event venue
The EOSC Symposium 2025 takes place in the iconic Hotel Le Plaza Brussels
Hotel Le Plaza Brussels, an Art Deco masterpiece (1928-1931) designed by Michel Polak and inspired by Paris’ Hotel George V, offers a truly unforgettable setting for the EOSC Symposium 2025. This protected heritage site features a hidden neo-baroque movie theatre, evoking 1930s glamour. After wartime use and subsequent closure, it was meticulously restored in 1996, regaining its original grandeur and blending rich history with a unique atmosphere.
