The GÉANT EOSC Node offers specialist high-scale network, security, and trust and identity services to the wider research community, while lowering barriers for NRENs and selected cloud providers to participate in the EOSC Federation.
Hosted on the GÉANT Digital Research Environment, the Node provides a compliant deployment blueprint for EOSC Nodes and strengthens the link between EOSC and EuroHPC through high-bandwidth networking and federated AAI.
Key objective: To make specialist network, security and trust and identity services available to the broader EOSC community, to provide a gateway to NRENs and selected OCRE cloud providers and to offer through MyAccessID the technical solution for the AAI EOSC Federating Capability.
