The Secretariat of the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA) has opened a call for candidates to fill three positions on the CoARA Steering Board, including one Vice-Chair. The deadline for applications is 12 November 2025.
The CoARA Steering Board plays a central role in guiding the coalition’s strategic direction, governance, and long-term sustainability. With this election, CoARA aims to ensure a strong and diverse leadership team that brings together a wide range of expertise and perspectives, while reflecting the breadth of its member community. Successful candidates will be expected to actively support CoARA’s mission and contribute to ongoing efforts to advance research assessment reform.

The EOSC Association has been a signatory to the Agreement on Reforming Research Assessment, led by CoARA, since February 2023 and continues to support its vision for a more transparent, inclusive, and responsible research system.
