The conference aims to strengthen the dialogue between stakeholders on the effective implementation of open science in Ukraine. Key topics include the development of national research infrastructure, reforming research evaluation systems, ensuring open access to scientific results, open research data, reproducibility of research, and the role of citizen science in the development of Ukraine’s innovation ecosystem. All topics are aligned with the National Action Plan on Open Science and the Roadmap for Ukraine’s Integration into the European Research Area, making the conference an important element in advancing national science reforms. Separate panels are dedicated to innovation, academic publishing, and the dissemination of EU best practices in the field of digital resources and skills development.
The conference will be an open space for the exchange of experiences, ideas and best practices. It creates an opportunity for cross-sectoral and interdisciplinary dialogue between researchers, government officials, infrastructure, innovators and policymakers. Expected results: strengthening cooperation, forming new partnerships and developing a common vision for the integration of Ukrainian science into the European Research Area.
