Matteo Zanaroli

Matteo Zanaroli is Ethics and Data Governance Manager at the Italian National Centre for High-Performance Computing, Big Data, and Quantum Computing (ICSC). He also serves as the Coordinator of the Italian EOSC Node and Co-Chair of the EOSC Node Coordinators Committee. 

Matteo began his career with Datalogic, a global leader in the process automation market listed on the Italian stock exchange. During his tenure, he rapidly gained experience participating in various M&A activities and FTC investigations as a member of a multifunctional team. He focused on corporate-level qualitative and financial evaluation of intangible assets, monetisation of the IP portfolio, and government channel fundraising activities. In addition, Matteo co-chaired the Industry Advisory Board of the NSF Center for Big Learning.  Currently, he oversees ethics and data governance activities at the ICSC Foundation and has been involved in the creation of the Italian EOSC Node since its beginning.
