Result description
The FAIR Assessment Dashboard is a collection of tools for software developers at science clusters to assess and monitor the quality of the software they develop, and to measure the adherence to best practices, including a common metadata framework to capture to research software quality in this metadata so they can be used in open science platforms. The dashboard allows software developers to evaluate whether or not the data is correct, or whether metadata and metrics are sufficient, providing examples for existing platforms in the different communities.
Problem addressed
Research software is still frequently treated as an afterthought to research data when it comes to FAIR. EVERSE aims to change this by establishing research software as a first-class citizen. The dashboard will enable science clusters to monitor and assess software quality.
