Result description
This tool is an extension of the Connector employed in Data Spaces. The extension developed by TITAN is composed of a Policy Enforcement Point (PEP) and a Policy Decision Point (PDP). The PEP oversees the communication with users who request access to a resource. The PDP applies the policies and any other relevant criteria and decides if the user is allowed to make the requested action with the resource.

The project’s outcomes can be used by both the scientific and technical members of the consortium, as well as end users. Researchers will be the primary target group (especially those working with sensitive data such as healthcare data/data protected by GDPR); the service can be used by anyone processing sensitive data.Timeline
Timeline: Q4 2025 TRL: This result is expected to be enabled later in the project - available by Q4/2025, but at a lower Technology Readiness Level (TRL) before it is fully validated through the use cases; higher TRL expected after Q4 2025; individual components already have higher TRLs, but the integration effort starts at TRL 4 or 5, and is expected to progress to TRL 6 by the end of the projectHow to use the result
The Connector is the mechanism employed by Data Spaces to connect systems and their data. In the EOSC Federation, the Connector, extended with the elements developed in TITAN, should be implemented by EOSC Nodes that want to offer confidential computing features.
