The Health Research Institute of the Balearic Islands (IdISBa) results from the association and collaboration between the different health research performing organisms in the public sector in the Balearic Islands, including the major teaching hospitals, the Primary Healthcare Service and the university. IdISBa has a Health Data Research Unit (PRISIB), which aims to create databases based on the electronic health records of the balearics population and other complementary sources.
