Towards an Open Platform for File S&S, AAI and Node-as-a-service for EOSC
The EOSC4ALL project aims to develop an inclusive open-source Node Platform delivered as a managed service (Node as a Service). Central to this Node Platform is the GÉANT Digital Research Environment (GDRE). The GDRE will offer the essential federating capabilities to enable institutions to seamlessly and securely establish production ready nodes that follow and are ready to join the EOSC federation. These nodes will share resources and research outputs within their own constituency and across the EOSC federation. In addition to the GDRE, EOSC4ALL will also deliver the EOSC AAI as a service, for prospective nodes that want to use that. Besides supporting the ongoing development of the EOSC as an overarching research infrastructure, EOSC4ALL is addressing the specific need to lower technical entry barriers for eligible organisations in the European community to be part of the EOSC Federation.
