EOSC-Marine

Operationalizing the EOSC Node | European Digital Twin Ocean to Support the EU Mission Ocean & Waters

The EOSC-Marine project aims to develop an EOSC-compliant digital environment equipped with core computing capabilities, multidisciplinary datasets, and advanced analytical tools to support aquatic scientists and stakeholders researching and restoring our ocean, European seas, coastal, and inland waters. The EOSC-Marine digital environment will enable the target stakeholders to access, couple, and exchange FAIR open data and application workflows from their own discipline, across EOSC nodes and research infrastructures leveraging on the EOSC Federation, Blue-Cloud 2026, and the EDITO programme. Besides supporting the ongoing development of the EOSC as an overarching research infrastructure, EOSC-Marine is addressing the specific need for enabling researchers from the marine and aquatic communities to facilitate cross-node data and service exchange and integrate into the fully operational European Digital Twin Ocean.
