Developing and implementing the Cross-Domain Interoperability Framework for EOSC
The CDIF4EOSC project aims to develop a comprehensive and actionable playbook built on the Cross-Domain Interoperability Framework (CDIF) to support European researchers and stakeholders advancing cross-domain data integration across the European Research Area. The resulting CDIF4EOSC Playbook, equipped with AI-assisted tools and use case-based profiles, will enable target stakeholders to create, scale, manage and integrate FAIR-by-design digital objects from their own disciplines, across systemic levels, infrastructures and national borders leveraging on the EOSC Federation, EOSC Nodes and the Common European Data Spaces. Besides supporting the ongoing development of EOSC as an overarching research infrastructure, CDIF4EOSC is addressing the specific need for evolving traditional FAIR principles to encompass data quality, trust, governance and sensitive data management across interconnected domains.
