The SWISS EOSC COFFEE is a series of online events organized by “Switzerland and the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) for researchers” for the interested and curious public.
In its first “online coffee break” Jessica Lindvall (Associate Professor, Stockholm University) will talk about the data challenges in the life sciences and the relationship between EOSC and the European Life Sciences Infrastructure for Biological Information (ELIXIR). Jessica is the deputy Head of Node of ELIXIR Sweden and chairs the EOSC Task Force “Upskilling Countries to Engage in EOSC”. The Swiss EOSC expert team will be represented by Lucy Poveda, Scientific Relations Manager at SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics and Node coordinator of ELIXIR Switzerland. Lucy will provide an overview of the SIB activities and moderates the discussion with the participants.
