The ROSiE project is ending in a few months and will hold its final event at the European Parliament on February 21, 15:00-18:00, officially hosted by the European Parliament Panel for the Future of Science and Technology.
15:00-15:05: Opening of the session
15:05-15:15: Keynote speech from a representative of the European Commission
15:15-16:15: A presentation/discussion of OS challenges by key players in the OS field. Speakers include Marcel Bogers [1] (Professor of Open & Collaborative Innovation, Eindhoven University of Technology), Frank Miedema [2] (Professor Emeritus, UMC Utrecht, Professor of Open Science Utrecht University, initiator of Science in Transition), Elizabeth Gadd [3] (vice-chair of the Coalition on Advancing Research Assessment and Chair of the INORMS Research Evaluation Group).
16:15-17:15: Presentation and mutual exploration of guidance instruments developed by the ROSiE project, including the following: OS complement to the ALLEA European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity (ECoC); Field-specific RE/RI guidelines on OS; RE/RI training materials on OS; blockchain technologies and OS; and responsible OS Knowledge Hub.
