Open Science Week 2026

To celebrate and advance the practice of Open Science, the Open Science Community Delft as part of the Network of Open Science Communities in the Netherlands (OSC-NL) proudly presents the third National Open Science Week at TU Delft.

This year’s theme, “How to Open Science”, focuses on the practical side of making research more open, transparent, reproducible, and inclusive. While support for Open Science continues to grow across the academic community, many researchers are still looking for concrete ways to integrate Open Science practices into their daily work. This edition of Open Science Week aims to provide hands-on guidance, tools, and inspiration to help researchers move from intention to implementation.

Throughout the week, participants can take part in a series of practical workshops showcasing different approaches to Open Science in research, education, and societal engagement. Whether you are taking your first steps or looking to deepen your existing practice, the programme will offer opportunities to learn from experts, peers, and support professionals across TU Delft.

In addition to the workshops, the week will feature the annual Open Science Meet-up, bringing together researchers, support staff, and students to connect and exchange experiences, as well as the TU Delft Open Science Awards Celebration, recognising individuals and teams who have made outstanding contributions to Open Science.
