STewardship and Recognition for DAta Science Talent
The STARDAST project strives to establish a sustainable, cross-sector ecosystem equipped with harmonised career frameworks and modular training curricula to support European data stewards and researchers embedding FAIR and Open Science practices. The STARDAST ecosystem will enable the target stakeholders to develop, enhance, share and scale professional data stewardship skills and tools from their own disciplines, across research infrastructures, sectors and national borders leveraging on Skills4EOSC, FAIR-IMPACT frameworks and EOSC governance connections. Besides supporting the ongoing development of Horizon Europe’s EOSC objectives, STARDAST is addressing the specific need for driving a cultural transformation to recognise data experts and sustain long-term professional career pathways.
