The Jagiellonian Library in Krakow, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the launch of the Jagiellonian University Repository, is organizing a conference whose aim is to analyze the past, present and attempt to diagnose the future of digital repositories. In addition, the thematic area of the event is broadly understood: open access e-infrastructure, digital resources management, the role and importance of digital repositories in the changing model of scientific communication, functioning of repository systems, management of publications and research data, competences of digital collection managers, competences for open science and the impact of open communication on science and deepening general awareness of the importance of openness of knowledge resources for economic and social development.
The conference will be held on March 14-15, 2024. It is addressed to librarians, research workers and representatives of institutions operating in areas related to the science sector.
The conference is free of charge
Participants cover the costs of travel and accommodation on their own.
