This event will offer participants an opportunity to get information about the call for proposals ‘Open Science Infrastructure’ and to find potential collaborators.
During the first part of the event, information will be provided about the Open Science NL Open Science Infrastructure call, and participants will have an opportunity to ask clarifying questions.
In the interactive second (optional) part of the event, participants interested in applying for funding in this call and seeking collaborations will have an opportunity to join a matchmaking session.
The aim of this call for proposals is to fund (digital) infrastructures across the whole spectrum of open science. Proposals can be tailored to specific types of infrastructures (e.g. community-led open access scholarly publishing platforms), specific types of research outputs (e.g. research software, publications, creative content, replication studies etc.), or specific types of open science practices (e.g. citizen science, preregistration, open peer review etc.).
Additionally, applications can be generic or tailored to the needs of a specific discipline of research. Particularly encouraged are proposals which help to reduce the fragmentation of the existing ecosystem of open science infrastructures, i.e. promoting integration between existing tools and services.
