The European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) is a pioneering initiative that aims to create an inclusive and open space for the exchange and use of research data in Europe.
Free EOSC Coffee Lectures at the ZBW provide clarity about what the EOSC is and what it is not, present the current status and relevant developments related to the EOSC, and demonstrate how one can get involved in its activities. The development phase of the so-called “EOSC Federation” has now begun; important decisions have been made, and measures for the further development of the Federation have been defined.
The EOSC Coffee Lectures invite everyone who deals with research data in their scientific work or is involved in the implementation and operation of research data infrastructures.
The Coffee Lectures will be held in German by Prof. Dr. Klaus Tochtermann , who is, among other things, a member of the Board of Directors of the EOSC Association (EOSC-A) and is also involved in several NFDI consortia and a member of the NFDI Senate.
