National Open Access Repository Webinar 1: Advancing Ireland’s Open Repository Landscape

Join the University of Galway Library on July 30th at 11am for a 1-hour webinar introducing the National Open Access Repository Project, funded by the National Open Research Forum (NORF). This project aims to align Ireland’s diverse repository network and community members. The webinar will cover the data collection process, findings, the ongoing alignment of repository metadata across four pilot repositories, strategic recommendations for future action and community engagement, and a vision for the future.

By aligning metadata standards and practices, the University of Galway Library aims to streamline research dissemination and ensure equitable access to scholarly outputs, thereby advancing Ireland’s standing in global open research initiatives.
