Axel Wodrich

Axel is a policy officer in the division responsible for research data and the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI) at the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). With the NFDI, Germany aims to build a research data infrastructure for the whole of German research, building on 27 mainly disciplinary consortia that work on a wide range of data related topics such as metadata, standards, interoperability, ethical and legal questions or data literacy. In addition, Axel is a member of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) steering board.
