DFN-Verein is the German National Research and Education Network. Established in 1984, DFN-Verein has been providing a high-performance communication infrastrucutre to German academia since more than 35 years. In close partnership with its 350 members DFN-Verein enables the development and provision of innovative services in the areas of connectivity, security, collaboration and mobility.

Being established in 1976,VLIR represents the Flemish universities. It serves as a platform to facilitate interuniversity cooperation and interaction with the Government of Flanders and the federal Government of Belgium in all matters concerning the threefold mission statement of universities (education, research and services to society). VLIR is the forum where the universities debate, learn from each other, join forces and formulate shared recommendations and solutions. VLIR is a member of EUA.

Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) is a competitive, high-quality, socially committed and internationally-oriented university located in Brussels. The university therefore is an avid participant in European projects.

VSB-TUO is the fourth largest university in the Czech Republic (CZ) with a technical and economic orientation. IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center is the university research institute. It is a strategic research infrastructure in CZ. It is a leading RDI centre active in the field of high-performance computing, data analysis and artificial intelligence. It operates the most powerful supercomputing systems in the CZ available internationally to research teams from academia and industry.

With about 300 employees and an annual budget of €26 million, the ZBW has been working in the fields of electronic publishing and research data management for many years. It operates the OA-repository EconStor with 200.000 digital full texts and the economics portal EconBiz in which ca. 11 million publications are listed. With five professor positions, ZBW has an internationally recognize research group in the field of Open Science.
