As many move towards their summer breaks, the second issue of the EOSC Association Newsletter will be a pleasant read featuring a rich update of our activities. What happened within the Association, which progress has been made in the Partnership with the European Commission, what’s new in the wider EOSC ecosystem?
In this month’s edition, we welcome the high level of engagement from the community in the successful call for applications to become members of the EOSC Task Forces, which closed at the end of July with more than 500 submissions. In the meantime, four job opportunities are still open for people who want to become part of our journey.
As we move towards the definition of key performance indicators to monitor progress on EOSC in collaboration with the European Commission, the Board has also started establishing closer ties with other entities both within and outside of the EOSC ecosystem, including talks with the ambitious Gaia-X initiative and the Research Data Alliance.
