In 1996, the National Academic Network and Information Center (ULAKBIM) was founded as an institute of TUBITAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye). ULAKBIM, as a public institute, is responsible for providing and operating the national academic network as well as HPC and data infrastructure (TRUBA) to support the research ecosystem in the country. Nationwide document supply services have been offered to the research and academia since the establishment of ULAKBIM.
