SCAYLE is a non-profit entity established in 2009 by the regional goverment of Castilla y León to promote the use of ICT services in the region, in particular HPC, cloud services, and advanced networking. SCAYLE hosts one the largest Spanish supercomputers (Calendula) for research. It also manages the regional academic network (RedCAYLE) that provides access to research and academic institutions and also offers a service for data management (OpenCAYLE).
