Result description
A coordinated network of competence centers for Open Science, FAIR research output management and EOSC, with the necessary resources (like e.g. Catalogue of Open Science Career Profiles – Minimum Viable Skillsets, Methodologies, Learning Materials) to (1) pool competences already in place at institutions and RI-/e-infrastructures, (2) establish a strategy for the “training of trainers”, (3) act as multipliers to deliver lifelong training locally, and (4) support the local communities.
Problem addressed
Lack of expertise in Open Science (OS) and FAIR research outputs management among EOSC stakeholders. Absence of clear definition of data professional profiles and career paths for these roles. Fragmentation of training resources.
