Isabel CAETANO

Isabel Caetano joined the EOSC Association team, as Senior Stakeholder Engagement and Outreach Officer.

Isabel’s top management experience includes previous positions as Board Member of the Portuguese National Innovation Agency (ANI), Member of the Founding Committee of the Agency for Clinical Research & Biomedical Innovation, Projects Director at COTEC, Director of International Relations and Communication of ANI and Head of Department at INESC. She is an invited lecturer at ISCTE – Executive Education and former director of the Executive Training Programme for Innovation Management.

Isabel is a senior international strategic advisor and consultant and expert evaluator for Horizon Europe, EUREKA and other national and international programmes. Previously, she was a national delegate for the EU Research and Innovation Framework Programme.

She is President of the Portuguese Standardisation Committee for “R&D and Innovation Activities” and leads the kick off phase of the new Committee for Artificial Intelligence. She is also Head of Delegation in CEN and ISO in those domains. She recently co-founded a network platform of experts – Go to Innovation Intelligence – in the innovation and sustainability domains.

Isabel holds a PhD in Management. She also holds an MSc in International Relations and post graduate studies in Innovation.
