Galaxy Europe is an IT infrastructure with more than 100 000 registered users that supports FAIR data analysis across scientific domains by providing 3 600 tools. It fosters Open Science and cross‑border collaboration in alignment with EOSC’s goals. Recommended by ELIXIR, the infrastructure ensures data accessibility, sharing, and reproducibility, emphasising interoperability for scalable and reproducible research across Europe.

Problem addressed

Galaxy Europe addresses the challenge of fragmented and complex research environments by providing a unified, userfriendly platform for data analysis. It simplifies access to FAIR data, tools, and workflows, enabling researchers across disciplines to conduct reproducible, crossdomain studies while promoting interoperability and collaboration within the EOSC ecosystem.

Added value

Empowering FAIR research practices by simplifying data processing, analysis, and visualisation while promoting FAIR principles.

Supporting cross-domain integration by enabling interdisciplinary analysis without the need for users to switch platforms.

Enhancing interoperability and integration with Open Science technologies and projects, such as S3 and the EGI Infrastructure, thus fostering a harmonised Virtual Research Environment.
