Sara Garavelli

Sara Garavelli works as Strategic European Engagement and Coordination Development Manager at CSC – IT Center for Science in Finland. As part of her portfolio she is responsible for the CSC engagement in initiatives related to the European Data Strategy implementation including the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC), the data spaces, the digital twins and EuroHPC.

Sara is very active in the EOSC area: she is a member of the Board of Directors of the EOSC Association (2022-2027) and she is the coordinator of the EOSC Finnish Forum, the EOSC national structure supported by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture in charge of organising the EOSC activities and engagement at country level.

Sara has more than fifteen years of experience in the areas of stakeholder engagement, outreach and international collaboration in the research infrastructures landscape. Sara has a degree in Telecommunications engineering.
