The GraspOS Community of Practice

Q4 2025
  • EOSC interoperability
  • Result description

The GraspOS Community of Practice (CoP) engages a diverse set of stakeholders – which changes depending on the focus of the theme in bimonthly online sessions. These sessions aim at introducing a problematisation based on experiences from GraspOS pilots to assess open science in responsible ways, building on which a discussion is facilitated with the broader community. This serves the purpose of collecting theme-, level-, or stakeholder-specific issues of implementation.

These issues will be analysed to formulate “requirements” for responsible implementation of OS in assessment systems.

    Problem addressed

The key problem that the GraspOS CoP addresses is the engineering of too narrow ideas of openness into EOSC by gathering evidence for diversification of both a) what counts as openness and b) what respective Open Science infrastructures value.

    Who can use the result

Primarily, this is addressed at GraspOS providers of services and tools. Secondarily, it can be read / accessed by anyone interested.

    Timeline

To be released by the end of 2025.
