The GraspOS Community of Practice

  • Result description

The GraspOS Community of Practice (CoP) engages a diverse set of stakeholders – which changes depending on the focus of the theme in bimonthly online sessions. These sessions aim at introducing and discussing a problematisation based on experiences from GraspOS pilots, existing OS networks, relevant initiatives and coalitions, and relevant projects to assess open science in responsible ways. This serves the purpose of creating a conversational space where two broad movements can be connected: the agenda to advance Open Science in Europe and the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA).

While the topics of each session vary, the focus is on the central question of: How can responsible research assessment consider open science and vice versa?

    Problem addressed

Provide a conversational space to share experiences and discuss challenges and concerns among stakeholders working on the intersection of Open Science and responsible research assessment.
