SUMMARY:EOSC-A 13th General Assembly
DESCRIPTION:The 13th General Assembly meeting of the EOSC Association will be held as an in-person\, lunch-to-lunch meeting on 28-29 May 2026 in Brussels\, Belgium. Among other items\, Members will vote on the position paper outlining the preferred governance and funding model for EOSC post-2027\, which is currently being co-created with the membership through stakeholder consultations. \n\nRegistration\nRegistration for EOSC-A GA#13 is now open! To attend the meeting\, fill in the registration form by Thursday\, 07 May 2026.  \n\nVenue\nThe venue of the EOSC Association’s 13th General Assembly will be the Renaissance Brussels Hotel\, situated near the city centre in the European quarter. \n\nAccommodation\nParticipants are required to book their accommodation individually. They may benefit from preferential accommodation rates at the following hotels: \nRenaissance Brussels Hotel\nThe preferential room rate at the Renaissance Brussels Hotel\, the venue hosting EOSC-A General Assembly #13\, is €185 per night for the nights of 27–28 May 2026. The rate includes VAT\, breakfast\, and Wi-Fi. A city tax of EUR 5.60 per night is excluded. Rooms must be booked via this reservation link. Rates for additional nights outside this period may differ and must be booked separately\, or participants should contact the hotel directly to add them to the same reservation. \nTo benefit from the preferential accommodation rate\, we recommend booking your room by 04 March 2026 (16:00 CET). This is the first deadline\, after which 50% of the reserved rooms will be released and availability may become limited. The final deadline to book a room at the preferential date is 26 March 2026. After this date\, rooms and special rates cannot be guaranteed. \nThe individual cancellation policy allows free cancellation up to seven working days prior to arrival. After that date\, 100% of the stay will be charged. \nRadisson RED Brussels\nThis hotel is located a few meters from the the event venue. The preferential rate is €190 per night for the nights of 27–28 May 2026. The rate includes VAT\, breakfast\, and Wi-Fi. A city tax of EUR 5.30 per night is excluded. \nRooms must be booked before 29 April 2026. Any rooms booked after the cut-off date will be subject to availability. Free cancellation is possible until 13 May 2026 at 6:00 pm (hotel local time). After this deadline\, or in case of no-show\, 100% of the stay will be charged. \nTo book at the Radisson RED\, participants must visit the Radisson RED Brussels website. Please note this is not the general Radisson website. To benefit from the preferential rate\, reservations must be made using the promotional code EOSC0526. Bookings made without this code and outside the group rate are not guaranteed under the negotiated conditions. \nPlease ensure that the correct stay dates are selected and that the number of guests is set to 1 adult\, as the code is valid for single occupancy only. If participants wish to book double occupancy\, they should first complete the booking using the code and then contact the hotel directly to request the change. A supplement of €20 per night applies. \nUnder “Special rates”\, select “Promotional code”\, enter EOSC0526\, and confirm to access the negotiated rate of €190 per single room\, per night\, plus city tax\, breakfast included. \nA credit card is required to guarantee the reservation.
