DESCRIPTION:Long Live Research Data is the next edition of the National EOSC CZ Conference\, which will take place this year in Ostrava. The programme will feature plenary sessions and panel discussions focused on current challenges and opportunities in the management\, sharing\, and re-use of research data. Participants can look forward to keynote lectures from leading experts\, interactive workshops\, and hands-on training that connect theory with practice and enable the direct application of new insights to everyday work with data. \nThe conference will be held in English\, opening it up to international participants.

It strengthens European data sovereignty by establishing common standards and secure\, transparent conditions for the exchange of research data. SUMMARY:AI for digital repositories: opportunities and challenges
DESCRIPTION:Recent developments in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models (LLM) in particular have disrupted the way we interact with information. The well-annotated and structured data in digital repositories provide valuable input for developing AI models and make the information available to more people in an interconnected way. In this webinar\, we discuss (1) use-cases on how to add value to data in digital repositories by using AI technologies\, (2) important concepts of LLMs and (3) how the EOSC Data Commons project supports data discovery using AI. We will conclude with two parallel sessions. One session will be a discussion\, in which we aim to define the most interesting opportunities and pressing challenges.
