DESCRIPTION:NISO Plus 2024 Global/Online is a virtual event happening September 17-18\, 2024. Building on our track record of engagement and conversation\, we’re bringing the same quality of content to this year’s event. Keynotes and dozens of amazing speakers from around the world will share their knowledge and expertise on important topics for the information community—and encourage you to join the conversation in the live discussions. \nScheduled in two blocks of time to enable attendance from as many time zones as possible\, there will be plenty for you to see and do (almost!) around the clock if you wish. Or you can pick and choose to create the best experience for your interests. \nMost presentations will be pre-recorded and screened during the live conference session(with chat) followed by discussion. Registration includes access to all content before\, during\, and after the conference. \nThere are a number of discounts available\, including for NISO members (if you need to check whether your organization has a membership\, you can do so here).

Under the motto  Meet\, Share\, Inspire\, Care\, the 3rd Open Science Festival in Germany  offers the opportunity to pursue these and other questions\, to network and to learn from one another. \nOpen Science creates encounters within and with science\, enables access to knowledge\, data and research processes. Openness as a principle shapes the framework conditions of science. Open access and open data facilitate access to scientific findings. Open standards and methods enable cooperation and are inspiration for new research approaches. At the same time\, Open Science rethinks the relationship between science and society.  \nThe 3rd Open Science Festival is aimed equally at newcomers\, interested parties and experts and aims to enable encounters and exchanges in a wide variety of formats.
