SUMMARY:French data repositories and their use of semantics
DESCRIPTION:The FAIR National Roadshow series is visiting France on the 11th of September 2024!\nThis hybrid event will be hosted by INRAE\, Paris\, France. It will take place the day before the Tripartite EOSC event\, which will provide an overview of current developments in French Open Science. \nThe aim of this event is to present the work done in France on the national level. The different partners present at this event will show their work\, skills\, and tools developed thanks to FAIR-IMPACT and other related EOSC projects. The first part will be dedicated to OntoPortal technology that permits the usage of the semantic artefacts in data repositories (at discipline or institutional scale). The second part will consider (meta)data interoperability thanks to and with semantics. The last part will be dedicated to some tool demonstrations in the context of French use cases. \nTarget audience:  We warmly invite the French community at large\, data support staff\, researchers and policy makers at universities\, universities of applied sciences and research institutes to join this event. We also hope to welcome the FAIR-IMPACT and other EOSC projects community. \nLanguage: French and English \nDate: 11 September 2024\, 15:00-17:00 CEST \nVenue: INRAE (147 rue de l’Université\, 75007 Paris) and via Zoom \nLocal facilitator(s): ‘INRAE\, CNRS \nDRAFT AGENDA\nModerator: TBC \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTime (CEST)\nTitle\nPresenters\n\n\n15:00 – 15:10\nWelcome and introduction to the French Roadshow topic: French data repositories and their use of semantics\nSophie Aubin\, INRAE\n\n\n15:10 – 15:30\nFAIR-IMPACT overview\nTBC\n\n\n15:30 – 16:00\nOntology repositories and Semantic Artefact Catalogues in EOSC: the prism of FAIR-IMPACT\nClement Jonquet\, INRAE\n\n\n16:00 – 16:30\nData interoperability into SLAs and MoUs\nSalomé Landel\, CNRS\n\n\n16:30 – 17:00\nSemantics in practice within French data repositories: Demonstration Session \nA few examples from real-world use cases from French Data Repositories about how they are managing semantics artefacts will be presented\n\n\n17:00\nWrap-up and closure\nClement Jonquet\, INRAE
