Discover whether the Nordics are keeping pace with global developments in this dynamic field and explore the current state and future potential of open LLMs in Europe. \nThis session will be moderated by Thor Wikfeldt\, head of ENCCS\, the Swedish National Competence Centre. \n10-10:30 Coffee Break\nNetworking and Visiting the Exhibition \n10:30-11:45 Emerging AI Use Cases on HPC\nTalks and Panel with DBC (Dansk Biblioteks Center)\, Supersight LTD \nThe session “Emerging AI Use Cases on HPC” will feature presentations and a panel discussion with innovators in both industry and the public sector. Supersight Ltd will showcase their development of crypto-specific Large Language Models (LLMs)\, while DBC (Danish Library Center) will demonstrate their utilisation of AI in library services. The talks and following panel discussion will explore emerging and cutting-edge applications of AI leveraging the power of supercomputers. \nThis session will be moderated by Ingrid af Sandeberg\, “af Sandeberg SWAT” Stockholm. \n11:45-13 LUMI and other HPC resources available for industry\nPer Öster\, CSC – LUMI Supercomputer\, Europe’s flagship supercomputer; Viktor Rehnberg\, Chalmers – AI use cases on HPC\, TBD – Arrhenius Supercomputer \nA presentation of Europe’s flagship supercomputer\, Lumi\, and all the insights as to how a supercomputer enables companies\, industrial entities and others to develop\, integrate and utilize AI within a vast range of different settings and scenarios. Through a combination of technical insights and case-based demonstrations this session will provide knowledge on how your company\, institution or organization can benefit from the usage of supercomputer facilities. \nThis session is moderated by Dennis Lange Wollbrink\, Leader of the Danish National Competence Centre. \n13-14 Lunch at DI\, Networking and Visiting the Exhibition \n14-15:30 Creating opportunities for industry users\nLightning talks by SMEs with EuroHPC AI Support Centre\, EuroHPC AI Factories\, Johan Kristiansson (ColonyOS)\, Alan O’Cais (MultiXscale) \nVarious EuroHPC initiatives support industrial users who have never leveraged HPC before or would like to scale their AI workloads to make the most of the EuroHPC infrastructures provided. A selected panel from these initiatives will pave the way for an interesting\, lively and interactive ‘Fish Bowl’ discussion. This discussion will focus on how those support initiatives and existing infrastructures match the needs of industry in general and SMEs in particular\, ensuring that all participants are engaged and part of the conversation.
