SUMMARY:DARIAH Annual Event 2024
DESCRIPTION:Building on the topic of last year’s Theme Call\, the DARIAH Annual Event 2024 will be dedicated to the topic of Workflows: Digital Methods for Reproducible Research Practices in the Arts and Humanities. We are looking for contributions that explore\, assess\, analyse and embody the challenges of designing\, implementing\, documenting and sharing digitally-enabled workflows in the context of arts and humanities research from a technical\, methodological\, infrastructural and conceptual point of view. \nThe Annual Event will be held in person in Lisbon\, Portugal\, June 18-21. The event will be hosted by NOVA FCSH\, Universidade NOVA de Lisboa\, at Avenida de Berna campus of NOVA FCSH. June 18th will be a day for DARIAH internal meetings\, followed by the conference on June 19th to June 21st. Accepted submissions are expected to be presented in-person. \n\n\n\n\nDARIAH is a European Research Infrastructure for the Humanities and Arts. Its mission is to empower scholarly communities with digital methods to create\, connect and share knowledge about culture and society. \n\n\n\n\nThe DARIAH Annual Event offers the DARIAH community and humanities scholars in general the possibility to present results and new ideas; to meet and network. Participation in the Annual Event is free of charge\, but registration is required. Please make sure you register on time as the registration will be closing on June 4th.

SUMMARY:2024 Coordination meeting of EOSC-related projects funded under Horizon Europe
DESCRIPTION:The 2024 edition of the “Coordination meeting of EOSC-related projects funded under Horizon Europe” will take place on 20-21 June in Brussels.\nAs in previous editions\, the meeting will bring together representatives of project consortia\, the European Commission\, the Research Executive Agency and the EOSC Association. \nThe main objectives of the meeting have been identified by the EC as follows: \n\nTo deepen the collaboration between the consortia involved in EOSC-related projects funded under Horizon Europe\, the EOSC Association and the EC in the context of implementing the EOSC European Partnership and its Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA).\nTo provide an update of the contributions made by projects consortia\, the EOSC-A and the EC towards achieving the strategic and operational objectives of the SRIA.\nTo discuss the challenges and next steps for the implementation of EOSC as fully operational\, federated infrastructure that enables the sharing of FAIR data and services across borders and disciplines.\n\nFor reference\, you can find here the report for the 2023 coordination meeting.
