The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, the Swedish Research Council and the EOSC Association invite you to a joint session on the possible pathways for impact to accelerate the transition to Open Science as the norm for scientific publishing. Please register by 7 June.
The overall purpose of the EOSC Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) is to define the general framework for future research, development and innovation activities in relation to the European Open Science Cloud.
This framework will be further developed in the context of the EOSC Partnership, drawing on inputs from EOSC Association member organisations and Task Forces.
The Partnership represents a new governance for EOSC as the first implementation phase of EOSC begins. The Partnership includes the European Commission and the EOSC Association; additionally, the Partnership Board invites participation by representatives of the Member States and Associated Countries, which are organized as a European Commission Expert Group, the EOSC Steering Board. These three entities together comprise the Tripartite Collaboration, which serves to govern EOSC.
The EOSC Association brings together key stakeholders in the European research environment to agree on strategies for the advancement of Open Science and to optimise the conditions for research outcomes, and ultimately, to make the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) a reality. EOSC will offer researchers open and seamless services for storing, managing, analysing and re-using research data, and thus accelerate the creation of new knowledge and spur innovation.
